Project Overview

The Mongolia Digital School (MDS) project was launched in August 2018 in collaboration with Mongolia’s Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports (MECSS).
This project aims to:
- Reduce the gap in quality of education between rural and urban areas in Mongolia. - Strengthen teachers in terms of their professional development and help them to establish digital classrooms for the future of Mongolian education
MDS seeks to impact the lives of more than 350,000 Mongolian students in more than 2,000 schools by using our Jnrlink program to give all Mongolian children easy access to quality and effective education. The project starts with 22,000 students from 80 schools in the project’s first year before rolling out nationwide. We are also partnering with Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education to conduct a study into the effects of Jnrlink on Mongolian students.

Words From Our Chairman

"We are confident that our program will play an important role in building a strong foundation for learning. This in turn will translate into a better chance of success in life. Through this program, we hope every child in Mongolia will effectively learn Mongolian, English and any other discipline. We hope they will become better equipped, and one day be able to contribute to the well-being of Mongolia."
- Mr Edwin Lee, Chairman of ALLiN at the MDS Inauguration Ceremony 28 August 2018

Partner With Us

We don't get to choose where we are born; some of us are lucky to be where we are now. But children who are born in rural areas and poorer communities, like all other children in the world, deserve a chance at good quality education. We firmly believe that the world’s education problems are too great and too urgent to be solved by just one company. We are constantly seeking likeminded partners to come alongside us and change the lives of children everywhere so that nobody will have worse education just because of where they were born. About Mongolia

Mongolia is a country of immense beauty. It is the 18th largest country in the world by land size, and also the most sparsely populated with a population of just over 3m. Approximately half live in the capital city of Ulaanbaatar, and about 30% of the population live nomadic or semi-nomadic lifestyles. A relatively young country in terms of demographics, about 59% of Mongolia’s population is under the age of 30, with more than 25% under the age of 14. Hence, it is imperative that good quality education is easily accessible to all, for the future of the country.
